One player chooses a secret word or phrase, writes its letter count, and draws one blank per letter. The other player or group guesses. Wrong letter or word = 1 miss. Draw in order: head, body, left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg. Reveal every matching letter. Solve the word before 6 misses.

Quick rules

How to use this sheet

  1. One player secretly chooses a word or short phrase. Write its total number of letters in the box, then draw one blank for each letter on the Word line. Leave a clear space between words.
  2. The other player or group guesses one letter at a time. If the letter appears, reveal every copy of it in the word or phrase.
  3. If the letter does not appear, write it on the Misses line and draw the next body part: head, body, left arm, right arm, left leg, then right leg.
  4. A player may guess the whole word or phrase on their turn. A wrong whole-word guess counts as one miss.
  5. The guessers win by solving the word before the sixth miss. The word chooser wins when the sixth body part is drawn.
